I've had the honor of being a Quebec elopement photographer since 2010. Over the years, I've fallen in love with capturing intimate and elopement weddings. There's something incredibly special about being part of such a personal, meaningful celebration. Each couple has a unique story, and I’m here to tell that story through my lens.

After 15+ years photographing weddings here, I still find new quiet corners to fall in love with, the narrow streets of Old Quebec, the little staircases tourists rarely find, the light on the Château at sunset. Every season has its charm here. Fall gives you soft golden colors, but October also means cruise ship season, so Old Quebec gets busier with tourists. Winter is magical with snow around the Château and his Christmas's market. Spring and early summer tend to be quieter and give beautiful soft light. Summer, is all about music and fun.
This question comes up a lot, and to be honest with you, I'll have to refer you to a certified celebrant for the legal side, they'll walk you through the exact steps. What I can tell you: since I'm at elopements regularly, I can act as a witness and sign your official papers with pleasure. I usually work with an assistant too, and she can act as a second witness if you need one.
A 2-hour session is usually all we need to capture your private ceremony, fallowed by a romantic walk around town. We can plan on having a rented car with driver to make it even more special. Many iconic locations are then easy to do.
Quebec City is very open to photo sessions. Public spaces like parks and public squares don't require a permit. Private venues, like hotels, always need prior authorization, and some only allow access to their interior spaces to their own guests, so you'd need to be staying there. I can put you in touch with the right concierges if needed.
Yes, I work in both French and English (and I get by in Spanish too, handy for couples coordinating from further away).
