Your destination wedding photographer

Let me capture the magic of the caribbean
Nothing compares to the beauty of a wedding in the sun, surrounded by idyllic landscapes, crystal clear waters, and golden beaches. To immortalize these precious moments, it is essential to choose a photographer who understands the magic of these exotic locations and who will capture every moment with authenticity and emotion.
Since 2011, I have specialized in wedding photography. With more than 300 weddings photographed, I can adapt to any situation. As a destination wedding photographer, whether you are planning a large ceremony or an intimate beach getaway, I am here to accompany you and ensure that every detail of your day is carefully immortalized.
A tailor-made experience with your destination wedding photographer
I speak French and fluent English, which greatly facilitates communication throughout the process, whether during our exchanges before the wedding or on site, with your guests or the resort organizers. I even speak a bit of Spanish. This allows me to create a smooth and stress-free experience for everyone.
My expertise in destination weddings allows me to adapt to the technical challenges that sunny environments can pose. With my mastery of natural and artificial light, I ensure that your photos are vibrant, even in intense sunlight or in the shade of palm trees.

Support throughout your stay
When you hire my services, I am available to document much more than just your wedding day. If you want to capture special moments during your stay—such as outings with your guests, an evening on the beach, or a romantic photo shoot in complete privacy—I will be there to accompany you.
In case of unforeseen circumstances, such as unpredictable weather, don't worry. We can reschedule certain parts of the sessions to ensure you get the images you dream of, in the best possible conditions.
Simplified planning
Organizing a destination wedding requires careful planning, and I am here to help. I can work with you to create the ideal schedule for your wedding day, taking into account the best times to capture natural light and your priorities. It is essential that you know and have been able to view the portfolio of the professional who will be by your side on the happiest day of your life. Photographers included in hotel wedding packages have varying portfolios and levels of experience, and you never know who you will end up with. Advance communication is often impossible. You will only meet them on the wedding day, for better or for worse.

Flexibility for departure wherever you are
I am based in Quebec and can easily depart from Quebec City (YQB) or Montreal (YUL) airports to meet you or travel with you to the resort of your choice. This flexibility allows me to adapt to your needs, regardless of the destination.
Treat yourself to timeless memories
A wedding in the south or worldwide, is an unforgettable experience, and your photos should live up to this unique event. I am here to transform your most precious moments into timeless memories.
Trust me to capture not only the big moments, like your ceremony and first dance, but also the details that make your wedding unique: your wedding rings placed on a tropical flower, the laughter shared with your loved ones, and the knowing glances exchanged under the starry sky.
Contact me today to discuss your vision and find out how I can accompany you on this adventure. Together, let's create images that reflect the beauty of your love and your day under the tropical sun.
Safety first
Whether it's Mexico with Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, the Riviera Maya, or Cabo San Lucas; the Dominican Republic with Punta Cana or Puerto Plata; Jamaica with Ocho Rios, Runaway Bay, or Lucea; Saint Lucia, Saint Martin, Aruba, Turks and Caicos... there are many dream destinations. The only country in the Caribbean where foreign photographers are not welcome is Cuba. Unfortunately, I cannot travel there.
Although I will be with you for the entire duration of your stay, my equipment will be carefully stored in the safe in my room. It will remain there until the day of the wedding or any scheduled activity for which I have been hired by you. I will therefore not be taking photos of you at the buffet, during cocktails in the lobby, or around the pool. A fall, breakage, or theft could compromise the capture of your wedding day, which is the most important thing for me.
Once the day is over, backup copies will be made, and the precious memory cards will be stored in a safe place. I will keep them with me at all times during the flight home before copying and backing them up again when I arrive home. I'm not taking any chances with these precious images.
Because damage can still happen, I always travel and work with two cameras on me at all times. In case of a glitch, our plan B is close at hand so we don't miss a thing.
More photo opportunities!
You can also add a sunset or sunrise session (depending on the hotel's location). This session takes place after the wedding and allows you to capture the beauty of the landscape and even take a dip in the ocean or pool without the stress of the big day. Advantages: no stress, fewer people on the beach and in common areas, more beautiful photos!
Are you planning an outing from the resort with your guests for a fun-filled day of activities? I can join your wonderful group to capture those moments of laughter and party.
When you return, I can help you create your wedding album, thank you cards, and enlargements to showcase your beautiful images in your everyday life.
What are the rates for bringing your photographer to your destination wedding?
What are the rates for bringing your photographer to the South or worldwide?
Less expensive than you might think. I understand that you need to set a budget when planning your wedding. I also know that your destination wedding will probably require flying, accommodation, and meals during your stay. When your wedding takes place at an all-inclusive resort for a week, it makes things a lot easier. And it's often less expensive than taking a round-trip flight just to photograph the wedding day. Most hotels will require your photographer to stay at the resort for three days, otherwise fees will apply (Day Pass of $300-$500/day). For all the advantages mentioned above in the article, having me on site with you for a week is quite beneficial.
Brides and grooms sometimes don't know that travel suppliers (wholesalers) offer free services depending on the number of guests traveling with you. The more guests you have, the more free services you can get (varies by company, some have limits). This means that the cost of my trip (flight, accommodation, and meals) will be virtually free for you.
I like to offer flexibility to my wedding couples. That's why I decided to offer à la carte options rather than packages that include several elements. For example, the basic package for the wedding day, including 8 hours of coverage and all the good digital photos, is currently $1,600 (cnd). Since the service is offered outside of Canada, taxes do not apply. In addition to photography services, video services are available. A few drone shots (when permitted), candid moments captured to tell the story of the day, full coverage of the ceremony with a wireless lapel microphone... it's truly a wonderful addition.
Even if you add services to your wedding day coverage and travel expenses, the bill is barely the total amount you would have invested if you had hired me for your wedding here in Quebec. My wedding photography package in Quebec is currently $4,700 plus taxes, while the package for weddings in the south starts at $1,600.

5 tips for planning your destination wedding
Be accompanied
Work with a travel agent who specializes in destination weddings. This will be your key to a happy and worry-free experience. Some travelers decide to make their own reservations. You miss out on several advantages:
- Receiving advice tailored to your tastes for the wedding of your dreams
- Knowing all the hidden costs and packages offered by hoteliers (to avoid unpleasant surprises)
- Hotel wedding coordinators are not known for being quick and consistent with their emails. More often than not, you will get answers to your questions when you arrive on site, which is a little too late to plan anything. An agent who knows the hotels will be able to answer many of your questions before you leave.
- Get access to group perks!
- Some agents will even accompany you on site if you wish to coordinate your wedding day.
- They will take care of all your guests' questions. When planning a trip, some guests have specific needs (allergies, mobility, room and bed options), and you don't want to be the one fielding all the questions.

Travel light with your heart and luggage
Consider the concept: you have chosen a destination wedding package for one or more reasons. To spend more time with your loved ones, to get married with your feet in the sand and surrounded by paradise-like scenery, to save money compared to a wedding in Quebec... whatever the reasons, keep the planning as simple as possible. Don't add three suitcases of decorations and unnecessary gifts for your guests. Take advantage of the all-inclusive package and consider whether you really need the additional decorations or other extras offered by the hotel ($). Your family and friends will remember the time spent with you, not the centerpieces. Also, knowing that I offer a 2-hour photo session for your guest during your stay, your gift could be for them to have beautiful family or couple pictures.
Did you know that...
Your wedding dress does not have to be in your suitcase. Airlines allow bridal gowns to be carried in the cabin inside a garment bag (make sure the bag is not too transparent if you want to keep the surprise for your future spouse and guests).
Before booking, check out the Facebook groups!
Join the Facebook group for future brides and grooms at your resort/hotel. It's a goldmine of information. You'll find people sharing their experiences, names of employees you'll want to know, and options. You can see photos of wedding venues and ask questions. It's even useful to check out these groups before you make an official booking to see if other couples are happy with the venue and service.
Think outside the box
In addition to the wedding, it's nice to plan an outing away from the resort to discover the surroundings, culture, and country you're visiting. A catamaran trip, a guided tour of the city, snorkeling, and wild dancing are all possible! An all-inclusive resort for your wedding is not your vision? A specialize wedding planner can help you to find the perfect location outside of the hotel to get married. Beautiful and intimate mansion or private beaches are hidden gems all around the world.

Two birds with one stone: photos AND videos
A service exclusively reserved for destination weddings: videography. Once the priorities have been determined, I can create a dynamic wedding video for you that will bring your memories back to life. The video option is available with the presence of a photo assistant. The cost is much lower than hiring a separate videographer. Take a look at some excerpts from MC+D's wedding in Jamaica at the Bahia Principe Grand Jamaica / Luxury Runwar Bay. You will also see some footage shot during the catamaran trip to Dunn's River Falls a few days before the wedding. Drone, GoPro 360, regular GoPro, gimbal... I have everything I need to capture beautiful video footage.
